Libby Ross Foundation

A fall event that attracts 5-600 people for an annual fund raiser for breast cancer research. Industry and commercial participants come together on the eleventh floor of the New York Design Center for a social evening of music, refreshments and a silent auction that raises $100,000.

New York Eleven 11

Student design exhibition. Every year, during the month of April, Design students throughout the State of New York display their work in our showroom for five days. Design Cares Giving back in Style conducts a silent auction to benefit The Partnership for The Homeless. Every September.

Streets of New York

Co-Sponsored by Interior Design Magazine, the New York Design Center opens its doors to an evening of exploration into the function and fashion of office furniture design. Open to the public. Yearly during the month of October.

Canstruction

Every October there is a competition and a Gala Reception where teams of architects, engineers and designers are given one night to build a fantastic structure designed entirely out of canned and boxed foods in select showrooms. Afterward the food is donated.

First Look

A New York Design Center Event held every year in July following Neocon. Office furniture manufacturers display product that was recently introduced.
